Rapunzel, element of light. Again, another obvious choice. I don't think I could've gotten away with doing anything else. Her sunny disposition was so fitting in the film, I had to give her a little smile.
Agh, I'm not sure why but this one was/is very difficult for me! The idea in my head was blinding light. Whether that came across, not sure. I hope so. Its difficult to paint something light while maintaining a good range of darks and lights. (I thinking painting is just difficult.) But after wrestling with it and taking a day away from it, I think i got the darks to play with the light. Can't have one without the other. Hope you enjoy!
EDIT: Actually I will be redoing this piece. I'll keep this one for now but in the future it will change. I have a new idea that would fit more appropriately.
